French duo Else presents a new video for “Night Thoughts”

French duo Else have crafted an organic, buzzing synth-journey called “Night Thoughts” that’s accompanied by a cinematic music video with a chaotic embodiment of the American dream. Directed by French national-award nominated directors Adrien Lagier and Ousmane Ly and portrayed by Yassine Stein alongside Ly himself, the visuals find a dreamy friendship slipping into a nightmare backdropped by the California sun as a successful robbery and romp toward the horizon eventually leads to frantic disarray.

Else is a music duo hailing from Toulouse, a city in the Southeast corner of France. After two EPs (including powerful tracks such as “Her Movie” and “1979”), they’re prepared to return with a strong, two-part project called Sequence. This double EP combines raw melodies with a uniquely French touch that charted their early success in France, all the while marking a more mature and ever-danceable approach.
