Upon Access presents UAVA Vol. 1, the first various artists release series, capturing a range of sounds that resinate with the label. The release start off with “Watershed” by Doppel – showing off his story-telling approach with the track immediately grasping your attention with eerie sounds whilst bringing depth to solid bass lines and twisting synth work that weaves throughout the track.
“Wyde” comes from Upon Access favourite – Somersault. The title says it all with his signature wide synth work. Its beautiful percussion progresses throughout and the bass lines are purely made for the the dance floor.
Sweetland‘s track “Osaka” was truly inspired whilst travelling through Japan. Pushing a well rounded techno sound with its dense rolling bass and odd like synth hues, that fall away once a range of dreamy synths cascade in. The final track comes from label head Made in Paris with “Forgotten Soul” featuring her own vocals, evolving synths and driving bass lines, capturing an emotional journey and leaving you with a closing style number.
